Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
Despite a solid third period the Canucks dropped their fourth straight game 4-3 to the Florida Panthers. Vancouver has now lost seven of their past eight games.
Vancouver’s five game road trip will conclude today against the Carolina Hurricanes who currently rank second in the NHL. Here are three bets I like for the game.
Player Prop
Burns has been a great addition to the already-stacked Hurricanes defensive unit, he has hit his over in shots in five straight games.
Player Prop
Bo Horvat to register over 2.5 shots at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50.
Horvat hit again for us last night and we’re going to continue to ride with him, he has hit his over in five of the last six games.
Special Teams
Vancouver to score a power play goal at +100. My $10 bet would return $20.
Anytime you can get Vancouver’s powerplay at plus money you have to take it, let’s hope Bruce gets the memo and moves Kuzmenko back to the first unit.
Last Game Bets
Bo Horvat to register over 2.5 shots at -138. My $10 bet would return $17.27. – HIT
Vancouver to score a power play goal at +100. My $10 bet would return $20. – HIT
The game to end with over 6.5 goals at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50. – HIT
Three for three again! we staked $30 and returned $54.77. We are now up $63.40 on the year.
