A huge game this afternoon between two Western Conference juggernauts, as the Colorado Avalanche take on the Vegas Golden Knights – and I’ve got two plays for you!
Today’s confirmed goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Vancouver Canucks’ Alexander Georgiev (38-18-4) vs. The Vegas Golden Knights’ Adin Hill (18-11-2).

Colorado Avalanche Moneyline (-105)
This is just a vibes pick here. The Avalanche got smoked last night against the Winnipeg Jets, losing 7-0. I’m expecting a bounce back from Nathan MacKinnon and company against a struggling Adin Hill.
Colorado has a positive 4-3 record in the latter half of back-to-backs. While Colorado and Vegas have split the season series so far, the Avalanche have the upper hand historically, winning five of their last seven meetings.
Cale Makar Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-150)
A $15.00 bet would return $25.00.
Cale Makar has cleared in five of his last eight games, averaging 3.1 shots on 6.8 shot attempts. He’s cleared in four of his last five road games, averaging 3.2 shots on 6.4 shot attempts.
He has cleared in one of two games against the Golden Knights this season, averaging 2.0 shots on 5.5 shot attempts. While his averages don’t cover this line, it’s a favourable matchup for Makar as Vegas allows the second most shots to defencemen, averaging 9.9 shots per game.
Last Game Recap:
Vegas Golden Knights Win/Draw/Win – LOSS – (+$8.69)
Quinn Hughes Over 2.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Brock Boeser Goal – LOSS – (-$7.50)
It was a brutal night last night. But hey, the Canucks had a big statement win and put themselves one point away from clinching the Pacific division title with two games remaining.
All-Time Record: 2-6 (-$48.81)
