Vasily Podkolzin scored his first career goal, and it was a thing of beauty.
The Russian winger, who the Canucks drafted in 2019, started tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers on a line alongside Elias Pettersson and JT Miller. Although the lines were juggled throughout the night and Podkolzin found himself on the fourth line in a hurry, he wasted little time showing everyone that he&#8217;s capable of absolutely letting it fly.

Understandably so, Podkolzin was absolutely elated after the puck went in.
And yes, Chris Faber was also very happy to see the guy he&#8217;s spent countless hours (and pretty unreasonable ones too!) watching score his first NHL goal.
