The Vancouver Canucks waived forward Justin Bailey Thursday, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported.
Bailey, 26, has appeared in 10 games for the Canucks this season taking 10 shots and posting a -4. He’s averaged just 9:41 time on ice per game this year.
Now in his third year in Vancouver, Bailey has struggled to get a foothold at the NHL level. Despite that, he’s been solid in the American League in the Canucks’ organization scoring 53 points in 57 games.
