Vancouver Canucks officially announce 2023–24 regular season schedule

The Vancouver Canucks released their schedule for the 2023–24 regular season on Tuesday.
The Canucks will open their season at home against the Edmonton Oilers on October 11 before heading out on a five-game road trip. They’ll wrap up their campaign on the road against the Winnipeg Jets on April 19.
In January, the Canucks will embark on a season-long seven-game road trip. They’ll play nine consecutive games at Rogers Arena between March 9 and 31.
The Canucks accompanied their 2023–24 schedule release with a clever video posted to their official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon.

Additionally, the Canucks will be represented at the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend, which is set to take place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto from February 2–3.
The Canucks finished the 2022–23 regular season in sixth in the Pacific Division and 22nd in the National Hockey League with a 38–37–7 record and 83 points in 82 games. The club missed out on qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the seventh time in the last eight seasons.
Elias Pettersson led the Canucks with 39 goals and 102 points in 80 games in 2022–23. First-year forward Andrei Kuzmenko tied for the team lead in goals with 39, while defenseman Quinn Hughes led the team with 69 assists.
