Nation Network Radio, presented by CanucksArmy, returns for its fourth episode on TSN 1040 this week with Jon Abbott and J.D. Burke.
Our intrepid hosts start the show by getting into the Canucks recent run of success coming off a 4-1 road trip and continuing their great start with strong performances at home. The team’s hit some bumps in the road, losing back-to-back games with only one goal and one point to show for it, but they’ve looked good in the process. Perhaps best of all, the games have been entertaining!
With Alexander Edler returning, the two take a bigger picture look at the Canucks blue line. How does it look when everyone is healthy? What do the Canucks do with Erik Gudbranson? What about Derrick Pouliot? It’s a solid back-and-forth between the hosts, and they make their case for how the Canucks blue line should take shape.
At the top of the second hour, CanucksArmy’s resident prospect expert and analytics guru Jeremy Davis joins the show to discuss Anton Rodin’s situation. They get into the Comets situation at large afterwards and discuss some of the Canucks top European prospects.
After Davis finishes his tour of duty on the show, Abbott and Burke get into what has made Canucks head coach Travis Green so successful to date. Will it last? Who knows, but it’s been fun so far!
You can also download the show on iTunes, or wherever else you get your podcast fix, under Nation Network Radio! While you’re there, leave a review — it helps the show!
