Canucks prospects Jonathan Lekkerimäki and Elias Pettersson recorded one assist each on Thursday as Team Sweden fell 8–7 in overtime against Team USA in the bronze-medal game at the World Juniors.
Lekkerimäki, the Canucks&#8217; first-round selection in the 2022 NHL Draft, picked up the primary helper as Filip Bystedt (SJ) got the Swedes on the board early in the second period.
Through seven games at the tournament, Lekkerimäki registered four points (one goal, three assists).

The 18-year-old defenceman racked up three assists in seven games with Team Sweden in Moncton and Halifax.
