Despite the rather sour Sunday, the Canucks’ week probably went better than many expected. From a hat trick that featured actual hats to a Dan Hamhuis that is even sadder than usual, read on to find out how the roster stacks up this week!
1. Radim Vrbata:
After scoring his first hat trick as a Vancouver Canuck, Radim Vrbata was given way more than one hat. Brandon Prust even made him try this one on. How fun!
1. Daniel Sedin:
Daniel Sedin is so good at hockey. His best moment this week came with a redirect goal as impressive as he and his brother’s attempt to redirect the Canucks season.
3. Ryan Miller:
Ryan Miller was great this week, keeping the Canucks in both Wednesday’s game against New York and Sunday’s in Chicago, though the team would go on to win only one of those.
4. Henrik Sedin:
A whole two spots below his little brother this week, Henrik Sedin really needs to step his game up.
5. Jake Virtanen:
He did not play a game for the Canucks this week, but Virtanen will join Team Canada at the World Juniors tournament. The tournament will be held in Finland this year, where the Virtanen family comes from.
6. Alex Edler:
Edler played two decent games this week and one absolute monster of a game against the Rangers, during which he went bar down on countryman Henrik Lundqvist.
7. Brandon Prust:
Brandon Prust scored his first goal as a Canuck immediately after shaving his head. And his goal song is Drake!
8. Chris Tanev:
Chris Tanev falls to #8 because he actually messed up this week:

9. Jannik Hansen:
Hansen played his 500th NHL game this week and also looks like the man from Coldplay.
10. Alex Biega:
Alex Biega has done exactly what any Canucks fan could want him to do and for that he lands in the top 10 this week. Nice job, Alex!
11. Sven Baertschi:
Sven Baertschi seems just about ready to turn it on, but the results still refuse to appear for him.
12. Jared McCann:
Jared McCann will probably not be joining young Jake in Finland because the Canucks can probably not afford to lose another centreman. If he does go, though, we may all be able to make puns out of Linden Vey’s name again!
13. Alex Burrows:
Alex Burrows is very invested in the youth movement:

14. Ben Hutton:
Ben Hutton’s past is filled with dancing gifs and questionable cheering decisions. At least, he’s not wearing the jersey.

15. Bo Horvat:
Bo is struggling but trying to improve anytime he has a spare moment:
16. Adam Cracknell:
Adam Cracknell is doing everything asked of him and seems to be a nice man and we should all be happy for him!
17. Chris Higgins:
No hockey player flies under the radar the say Chris Higgins does, but he has done some okay stuff!
18. Derek Dorsett:
The Canucks’ fourth line was genuinely not too bad this week as a whole which is always cool.
19. Matt Bartkowski:
He is not the best defenseman on the team, but he may be the best quote.
20. Yannick Weber:
This isn’t about Yannick, but look at this self portrait that Shea Weber drew:

21. Brandon Sutter & Luca Sbisa:
Brandon Sutter and Luca Sbisa are both a little ways away from returning and are looking better and better with each game that they miss.
22. Jacob Markstrom:
Jacob Markstrom did not play this week.
23. Dan Hamhuis:
Dan Hamhuis definitely had the worst week out of all of the Vancouver Canucks. Poor Dan.
