Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
A five point effort from Elias Pettersson helped the Canucks snap a three game losing streak with a 6-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Arturs Silovs made 37 saves, earning his first ever win in the NHL.
Next up for the Canucks is a quick two game road trip starting in Nashville. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
Josi leads all d-men in shots league wide by a decent margin and has 18 shots in his last four games which is an average of 4.5 per game, I like his over tonight.
Special Teams
Vancouver to score a power play goal at +120. My $10 bet would return $22.
Vancouver’s power play has been hot recently, moving back into the top ten league wide. Nashville has a middle of the pack penalty kill and takes the eighth-most penalties in the league. I absolutely love these odds for the Canucks.
Player Specials
Roman Josi and Elias Pettersson to register a point at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50.
Josi has scored five points in his last two games and has a point in six of his last seven games. Pettersson has scored seven points in his last two games and has a point in five of his last six games.
Last Game Bets
JT Miller to register over 2.5 shots at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50. – HIT
Vancouver to score a power play goal at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50. – HIT
Flyers to win money-line at +100. My $10 bet would return $20. – MISSED
We staked $30 and returned $36, and are now up $129.78 on the year.
