Canucks at Ducks | OddsShark Matchup Report

Brock Boeser registered three goals and an assist and Elias Pettersson added a goal and three assists in Vancouver’s 5-3 road victory over the Kings. The Canucks are now 8-1-1 over their last 10 games and are up to fifth in the NHL in scoring averaging 3.75 goals per game. Pair that with a defense that also sits in the Top 5 in goals-against average at number four with a 2.42 GAA, and you’ve got yourself a team that looks like a very legitimate threat to compete for the top spot in the Pacific Division this season.
Over their last five road games, the Canucks are 4-1 per the OddsShark NHL Database.
Since kicking off the season with a 6-2 record out of the gate, the Ducks have cooled off and gone 2-4 over their last six games. But Anaheim may be trending back in the right direction with wins in two of their last three games including a 5-1 road win at Colorado and a 7-4 win at home against the Winnipeg Jets. With that win over Winnipeg, the Ducks improved to 8-1 in their last nine games at the Honda Center. Goaltender John Gibson is 4-1 with a 2.01 GAA and a .941 save percentage at home this season compared to a 1-5 record with a 3.24 GAA and a .900 save percentage on the road.
Friday night’s total is set at six goals at sports betting sites. The UNDER is 7-2-1 in the last 10 games between Anaheim and Vancouver.
Only four points separate first place from sixth place in the Pacific Division heading into Friday’s action. These division rivalry games are going to carry a lot of weight all season long.
