Florida eliminated the Bruins in heartbreaking fashion last year after they had the best regular season in league history. Boston took a 3-1 series lead against the eighth-seed Panthers and looked well on their way into round three.
Florida stormed back, winning three straight, including two overtime thrillers at TD Garden, to complete the massive upset.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game.
The Florida Panthers’ Sergei Bobrovsky (36-17-4) vs The Boston Bruins’ Jeremy Swayman (25-10-8)
Sam Reinahrt to register over 3.5 shots at +115. My $12.50 would return $26.87.
Reinhart has been so excellent that his shot line has moved from 2.5 to 3.5. Even with the bump here, the data suggests to keep this rolling. Reinhart has hit over 3.5 in eight of the last nine games.

Carter Verhaeghe to score anytime at +140. My $10 bet would return $24.
The guy that ended the Bruins’ season in 2023 has recently been promoted to Florida’s top line with their two best players in Matthew Tkachuk and Alex Barkov.
Verheaghe has been on an absolute tear of late, scoring five goals in five games in the Panthers’ opening playoff series against Tampa Bay.

Jeremy Swayman to make 28.5 saves at -134. My $12.50 bet would return $21.87.
Swayman faced the most rubber of any goalie in the first round of the playoffs, and a matchup with the Panthers at home just means there’s a lot more where that came from. Florida finished second in the league in shots during the regular season.
In their five game series with Tampa, the Panthers averaged over 32 shots per game as well. I like this play at a full unit.
