On Saturday night, JT Miller scored the dagger as the Canucks shot out to a 3-1 lead late in the third after Miller drew a tripping penalty and wasted little time in scoring the power play goal to effectively ice the game for his squad.

As such, the Rogers Arena crowd erupted into an organic &#8220;JT Miller&#8221; chant that could even be heard on the TV broadcast. One person who certainly heard the chant was JT Miller&#8217;s daughter.
Miller&#8217;s wife Natalie posted a video on social media of the couple&#8217;s daughter reacting to an arena of over 18,000 people chanting her dad&#8217;s name, and as you&#8217;d expect, it was absolutely adorable.

&#8220;That was pretty cool,&#8221; Miller said after today&#8217;s Canucks practice. &#8220;My wife was telling me how special that was, she said she couldn&#8217;t really believe what was going on and I never thought I&#8217;d be in a situation where that would be possible, so that was a special moment for her for sure.&#8221;
While Miller has in the past said he rarely hears crowd chants and other non-on-ice-related matters (this wasn&#8217;t the first time the Rogers Arena crowd has chanted his name), he admitted that he did, in fact, hear last night&#8217;s chant.

But honestly, I don’t know why the hell they chanted my name. I was maybe the worst f***ing player in the game.”
While it&#8217;s true that Miller wasn&#8217;t necessarily at his best for most of last night, he came through in a big moment for his team and was certainly a big reason why the Canucks took home the victory last night.
He was also a big reason &#8212; with help from the Canucks fans in attendance of course &#8212; that his daughter got to experience what will surely be a very cherished core memory on Saturday night.
