The American Hockey League has released its regular season schedule for the 2023-24 season, and with it, fans can now start to plan around some key dates on the Abbotsford Canucks’ schedule.
The Canucks will open their season with back-to-back games on the road against the Laval Rocket on October 13th and 14th. They will then head home to take on the Calgary Wranglers — the team that eliminated them from the Calder Cup Playoffs — on October 20th and 21st. It will be the first time Abbotsford is back on home ice since the Wranglers defeated them in game four of the second round.
Abbotsford will then welcome Colorado for a two-game set on October 24th and 25th before closing out the opening month of the season on the road in San Diego, Ontario, and Coachella Valley.
The Canucks’ longest homestand will occur in January, where the team will play a total of six consecutive games at Abbotsford Centre, beginning on Friday, January 12 against the Tucson Roadrunners and ending on Sunday, January 21 against the San Diego Gulls.
Abbotsford will also conclude the regular season at home on Saturday, April 20 against the Calgary Wranglers.
March will be the Canucks’ busiest month of the season, as they will play 13 games that could end up being very important when it comes to playoff seeding. The Calder Cup Playoffs, which we’d expect the Canucks to qualify for, will begin at the end of April.
Per the Canucks, single game ticket information will be released at a later date. The club is encouraging fans to sign up for single-game pre-sale access for regular-season games, which you can do by clicking here.
