Vancouver Canucks defenceman Jordie Benn has left the teams training camp to attend the birth of his child in Dallas.
Head coach Travis Green confirmed the news Saturday as Olli Juolevi and Jaden Chatfield made up the teams fourth pairing.
The Province’s Patrick Johnston said his fiancee, Jessica Kohout, is due on July 24th.
According to Sportsnet 650’s Brandan Batchelor, Benn will be required to quarantine in Vancouver and test negative for COVID-19 every day in order to return the Canucks team.
