Vancouver Canucks forward has made a sizeable donation to the Canucks For Kids Fund.
Pettersson, 23, made the donation Tuesday.
“Giving back to the community has always been important to me,” said Pettersson. “Whether it’s meeting with the families who are going through a hard time and spending a few minutes with them to brighten up their day, or making a donation, I’m just glad I’m able to give back to the city I’ve come to know and love.”
The Canucks For Kids fund has been active for over 35 years and has three core beneficiaries — the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
You too can donate via the EP40 fund at www.nhl.com/canucks/community/canucksforkids/donate.
