The Vancouver Canucks have added defenceman Luke Schenn to the COVID-19 protocols, Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli confirmed Tuesday.
Schenn, 32, has appeared in 15 games this year with the Canucks scoring one goal and five points.
Tuesday morning was a hectic day around the NHL for COVID-19 protocols. A total of nine players, Schenn included, have been added to the league’s protocols as of the time of writing: New York Islanders forward Mat Barzal, Colorado Avalanche defenceman Devon Toews, Boston Bruins forwards Craig Smith and Brad Marchand, Florida Panthers forward Ryan Lomberg as well as Calgary Flames players Sean Monahan, Milan Lucic and Noah Hanifin.
More to come.
UPDATE 10:41 AM: Forward Juho Lammikko has tested positive as well, the club announced.
