The @Vancouver Canucks may be without @Brock Boeser for the rest of the season with a rib injury. The club has also shut down @Michael Ferland, and @Josh Leivo, for the season.
Boeser suffered a fracture to rib cartilage, the club announced Monday, initially saying he would be out three weeks. However, Tuesday morning GM Jim Benning said Boeser may miss the remainder of the year.
Along with Boeser, Benning said @Josh Leivo is out for the year and may return for post-season action.
The news comes a day after the Canucks made a huge move trading prospect @Tyler Madden, @Tim Schaller, and a draft pick to the @Los Angeles Kings in exchange for @Tyler Toffoli.
