Welcome to another installment of Nation Network Radio powered by Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill!
Don’t settle for nosebleeds! Always get a front row seat at Shark Club, your only destination for pre-game, post-game… every game! Located just minutes away from Rogers Arena at the corner of Georgia and Beatty, come eat, drink and talk a bit of trash. Learn more at www.sharkclub.com.
In the first hour of the show, CanucksArmy’s J.D. Burke and TSN’s Jon Abbott are joined by the Boston Bruins colour analyst, Bob Beers, to tee up the Saturday night showdown between these former rivals. In the next segment, CanucksArmy and Future Consideration’s Janik Beichler is on the line to talk Canucks prospects from all the way in Germany. Unfortunately, his connection wasn’t great as a result of the distance and the interview was cut short, but there is still some good information therein.
With no guests in the second hour, Abbott and Burke get into the hottest topic of the week in Vancouver — Jim Benning’s contract extension with the Vancouver Canucks. They also take listener texts and emails throughout the show and try to answer each in kind.
