After the Canucks won a puck battle behind the Lightning net, Motte gained possession at the goal line directly to @Andrei Vasilevskiy&#8217;s left. He immediately put his stick between his own legs and flipped the puck over Vasilevskiy&#8217;s shoulder, cutting Tampa&#8217;s lead to 3–2.
@Juho Lammikko and @Matthew Highmore picked up the assists on Motte&#8217;s fourth goal of the season, which came at the 15:46 mark of the third period.
