The wins might not have been particularly pretty and there are some major acquisitions that aren&#8217;t quite performing as well as everyone hoped, but this team has won twice the amount of games that they have lost. I would call that a fairly good start to what could be a symbolic season.
Canucks are heading back home to play host to the Washington Capitals on Friday night. A big test for the current team, but if the statement by Hughes says anything &#8212; they&#8217;re ready for the challenge.
