On today’s episode of Canucks Conversation, Chris Faber and David Quadrelli were joined by Frank Seravalli to talk all things Vancouver Canucks. But that wasn’t the biggest news from today’s show! Nope!

That title belonged to the news we shared towards the end of the show, when we unveiled Chris Faber’s replacement on the show! As many guessed, Harman Dayal will increase his role with Canucks Conversation, becoming Quads’ new co-host full time. For the past two years, Harman has served as a guest fill-in host with both Faber and Quads.

The guys introduced Harman in the only truly fitting way: with his (Shane McMahon’s) iconic entrance music, “Here comes the money!” Watch the clip from today’s show below:

“I obviously want to thank Quads and The Nation Network for the opportunity and I’m just super jacked up,” said Harman. “I’ve always had a blast doing the pod with you guys in the past. I’ll never forget the cool memories, the Castle Fun Park promo video in Abby, and I can’t wait to get this rolling, especially now that this team is off to a flyer of a start.”

Here’s that video from Castle Fun Park… there’s a Benchwarmers reference in there, but it doesn’t quite make sense. Here it is anyways:

“Chris and I have built great chemistry with each other, but there’s nobody I’d want to move forward with on the show than Harman,” Quads said. “The two youngest members of the media unite! Bringing in Harman allows us to have a seamless transition from one era of Canucks Conversation to the next, and I can’t wait to get into our new studio next week.”

Earlier in the show, the guys broke down the Canucks’ 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators, talked about Tocchet’s tough love for Elias Pettersson and JT Miller, and more! Seravalli also talked about how Quinn Hughes currently sits atop his Norris Trophy rankings, and Quads talked about how we could see all three Hughes brothers take home hardware. At the time of today’s recording, Jack Hughes leads the NHL in scoring, Quinn Hughes leads the league in scoring among defencemen, while Luke, the youngest Hughes brother, leads all rookie defencemen in scoring.
