Last week, the NHL selected one player from all 32 of its teams to go to All-Star weekend. For the Vancouver Canucks, that player was captain Quinn Hughes, and for good reason.
Hughes has sat atop the NHL defence scoring race for much of the year and is in the midst of a heavyweight battle with Colorado Avalanche defender Cale Makar in the Norris Trophy race.
So, we already know Hughes is heading to Toronto. But from the looks of it, a few of his Canucks teammates could be at the front of the queue to join him there.
According to a newly-published list of the top vote-getters in the NHL All-Star fan vote, Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller, Brock Boeser, and Thatcher Demko are all currently on track to make their way into the All-Star Game.

Demko currently leads all goaltenders by a long shot with 788,278 total votes, more than 300,000 more than Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky in second place.
The top eight skaters and top four goaltenders from the fan vote will be selected to join the first 32 players picked for the game. Pettersson currently ranks fourth among skaters with 518,168 votes, while Miller (452,451) and Boeser (383,954) are in sixth and seventh place, respectively.
It&#8217;s difficult to say the Canucks don&#8217;t deserve to send a ton of players to the All-Star Game with how well they&#8217;ve been playing to start the season. Vancouver currently ranks third in the NHL standings with a 26-11-3 record and 55 points in 40 games.
Demko is currently the top overall vote-getter, although Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander leads all skaters with 744,990 votes. Cale Makar, Leon Draisaitl, Mitch Marner, and Artemi Panarin are the other skaters in the top eight; Sergei Bobrovsky, Jeremy Swayman, and Alexandar Georgiev are the other top-four goaltenders.
NHL All-Star voting will continue through Tuesday on the league website and various other social media platforms. All-Star weekend is set for February 1-3 in and around Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
