It would appear that the Utica Comets have released forward David Dziurzynski from his PTO, (Professional Tryout) deal.
Dziurzynski joined the Comets on a PTO on December 27th and has played in 13 games since then, putting up two points, both assists, to go along with eight penalty minutes. Dziurzynski brought a physical edge while with the Comets which helped the team grind their way through a period mired by injuries.
With Dziurzynski being released, it would seem that the Comets are starting to get back to a healthier roster, which bodes well as they have been playing very well of late. Having all hands, or most hands, on deck should help the Comets in their quest to make the playoffs this season.
The Comets are back in action on Friday at 4:00 pm Pacific when the Laval Rocket come to town. As always, CanucksArmy will have your post-game report following the game.
