Welcome to the yearly wrap up of the top read articles over the last year!
Times were tumultuous in Vancouver for the Canucks in the middle of February. Brock Boeser suffered a rib injury as two other notable Canucks were shut down for the year.
I wrote a piece on February 18th about what happened and it was the 12th most-read article on CanucksArmy this year.
Boeser’s rib injury was due to a cartilage fracture, while the club also shut down Michael Ferland and Josh Leivo for the year.
Here’s what I wrote about it:
Boeser suffered a fracture to rib cartilage, the club announced Monday, initially saying he would be out three weeks. However, Tuesday morning GM Jim Benning said Boeser may miss the remainder of the year.Along with Boeser, Benning said Josh Leivo is out for the year and may return for post-season action. The news comes a day after the Canucks made a huge move trading prospect Tyler Madden, Tim Schaller, and a draft pick to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Tyler Toffoli.
