The Canucks are on one of their signature two-game winning streaks and much of their success can be attributed to Jake Virtanen’s hairflips and Sven Baertschi’s net front presence. With the youth in mind, these Power Rankings come with more Justin Bieber references than anyone asked for! Sorry.
1. Jake Virtanen:
No one in Vancouver is cooler than Jake Virtanen right now. Virtanen set up Wednesday’s game-winner and was moved up to the top line on Saturday. A minute into the game, he fought Filip Forsberg and got to flip his hair twice on national TV.

To top it all off, Jake was featured on JustinBieberCrew.com as a fan that was spotted with Justin Bieber.
But Bieber set the record straight by referring to Virtanen as “my boy” and by jammin for his boy. What a time to be Jake Virtanen.
2. Ben Hutton:
Ben Hutton wasn’t cool enough to hang out with Justin Bieber this weekend, but he has looked confident in his new role as Canucks #1 defenseman without Edler and Tanev. He’s currently one assist back of Shayne Gostisbehere for the rookie defenseman lead, so he’s in pretty good company. He also absolutely schooled Jake Virtanen in Teammate Trivia.

3. Nikita Tryamkin:
Nikita Tryamkin will make the average height of the Canucks roster significantly bigger. The hype (and the attempts to quell the hype) around this guy is enough to put him in the top 3 this week. I have no idea if this is his actual Twitter account, but if it is, look at the little prospects camp collage he made!
4. Sven Baertschi:
Sven continued his nice play this week. His coolest came on Saturday – Hutton probably does not miss the net on purpose here, but Baertschi’s finish is all that matters
There aren’t many jump shots in hockey, but Sven Baertschi scored on one. #NSHvsVANhttps://t.co/IpABZj8B08

5. Daniel & Henrik Sedin:
Henrik missed two games this week and returned on Saturday to join Daniel in physically destroying as many Nashville Predators as possible. The feisty Sedins are here to stay and the rest of league should get used to it.

6. Bo Horvat:
Horvat is still struggling defensively, but it’s not all bad because he also does cool stuff like this:
7. Jacob Markstrom:
Markstrom was able to hold tight to his post and was huge for the Canucks in their OT win against Arizona.
8. Ryan Miller:
Miller had a bad day in LA, but was big against Nashville, especially when he pulled this off:
9. Linden Vey:
We’ll never forget you, First Line Centre Linden Vey
10. Markus Granlund:
This week, Granlund scored his first goal as a Canuck and it was an overtime winner! Unfortunately, he was not included in this projected line-up for next season. Poor Markus. Also, poor Edler.

11. Alex Burrows:
You get the feeling that Burrows is cherishing every game he plays with the team, so it was nice to see him put together a great effort against Nashville. Markstrom was pretty excited for his pal.

12. Dan Hamhuis:
You would think that it was just a one time thing, but Dan Hamhuis scored on another back-door play this week.
13. Radim Vrbata:
Radim Vrbata returned from injury and scored a goal this week!
14. Emerson Etem:
Hates dog sweaters.
15. Derek Dorsett:
Derek Dorsett scored a goal this week but I used the .gif for Horvat’s section, so here’s a link to a video of Dorsett talking about Saskatchewan.
16. Jared McCann:
Even if you’re #TeamTank, Jared McCann’s post-win kisses are sure to make u smile. So cute.
17. Yannick Weber:
Yannick Weber got to be involved in a really fun hug this week!
18. Alex Biega:
Biega hit Nick Shore this week.
19. Luca Sbisa:
Sbisa had his usual share of gaffes this week, but most importantly he scored a goal at 17:38 of the second period on Wednesday. Our new Trap King.
20. Matt Bartkowski:
I really want to be nice to Bart but he makes it too hard.
21. Brandon Sutter, Jannik Hansen & Alex Edler:
These three are still hurt but they hung out with some cool kids and took a bunch of cute photos:
