The Vancouver Canucks have released their roster for the upcoming 2022 Young Stars Classic in Penticton, B.C.
The ninth edition of the Young Stars Classic will take place from September 16 to 19 at the South Okanagan Events Centre. The Canucks prospects will skate in three games, all of which will be streamed on the team’s official website.

Jett Woo, Tristen Nielsen, Chase Wouters, Linus Karlsson, Nils Aman, and Alex Kannok-Leipert — all 22 years of age — will be the veterans on the team of Canucks prospects.
Goaltender Ty Young and defenceman Kirill Kudryavtsev will be the only two members of the Canucks’ 2022 draft class in Penticton this weekend. Top 2021 draft pick Danila Klimovich will also participate, as will coveted WHL UFA signing Arshdeep Bains and promising young netminder Arturs Silovs.
As usual, the Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Winnipeg Jets will participate in the Young Stars Classic. The Canucks are the only team without a first-round pick on their roster — the Flames (Jakob Pelletier and Connor Zary), Oilers (Philip Broberg, Dylan Holloway, Xavier Bourgault, and Reid Schaefer), and Jets (Cole Perfetti, Chaz Lucius, and Brad Lambert) are all sending multiple.
The Canucks will play their first game at the 2022 Young Stars Classic against the Flames on September 16. They’ll take on the Oilers the following day before wrapping things up against the Jets on September 19.
