Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway
A 41 save effort from Thacher Demko helped backstop the Canucks to a 3-2 shootout win over the Calgary Flames. Vancouver getting the extra point took a massive hit to the Flames’ playoff chances.
The Canucks will embark on their final road trip of the season starting with a matchup with the LA Kings. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
I think we’ve established that we have to take it whenever the bookies give us a line with Pettersson at 2.5.
Player Prop #2
Adrian Kempe to register over 2.5 shots at -163. My $10 bet would return $16.15.
Kempe is fresh off a high event nine shot effort against the defending champions in Colorado and has registered seven shots in his previous two matchups with Vancouver this season.
Special Teams
Vancouver to score a powerplay goat at +110. My $10 bet would return $21.
Getting Vancouver’s 11th ranked power play against the 24th ranked Kings penalty kill at plus money is something I really like.
Last Game Bets
Tyler Toffoli to register over 3.5 shots at +110. My $10 bet would return $21. – HIT
Calgary to win money-line and Elias Pettersson to register a point at +100. My $10 bet would return $20. – MISSED
We staked $30 and returned $36.71, we are now up $104.81 on the year and ensuring we will end the year in the green.
