Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
Andrei Kuzemnko’s two goal effort on Saturday night led the Canucks to a 5-2 win over the Ottawa Senators, and just like that, Vancouver has now won four straight games.
Two winning steaks will be on the line Monday night at Rogers Arena, as the Canucks are hosting the Dallas Stars who are currently on a three game streak of their own. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
Robertson has hit his over in seven of his last nine games, which includes a five shot effort against the Canucks in their last matchup on February 27th.
Special Teams
Dallas to score a power play goal at -105. My $10 bet would return $19.52.
Dallas has the sixth-ranked power play in the league, somehow getting them at -105 against the worst penalty kill in the NHL seems like incredible value, this is my pick of the day.
Player Specials
Elias Pettersson and Jason Robertson to both score a point. My $10 bet would return $16.66.
Jason Robertson has scored nine points in his last five games, and Elias Pettersson has scored 6 points in his last five games. I like them both to get on the board again tonight.
Last Game Bets
Drake Batherson to register over 2.5 shots at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50. – MISSED
Alex Debrincat to register over 2.5 shots -175. My $10 bet would return $15.71. – MISSED
Ottawa to win money-line at -125. My $10 bet would return $18. – MISSED
Yes, it’s a slump for us. The Canucks have become tough to predict after their new coach bump, but we will look to change our fortunes tonight. We’re still up $56.85 on the year.
