Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
Rick Tocchet’s undefeated streak only lasted one night as the Canucks lost a 6-1 decision to the Kraken in arguably their worst game of the season on Wednesday. “Major surgery” seems to be majorly needed for the franchise.
The 27th-ranked Canucks will take on the 32nd-ranked Blue Jackets in the Bedard bowl. Here are there bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
Laine has hit his over in six of his last seven games and has tallied 35 shots in that span which is an average of five per game.
Anytime Goalscorer
Elias Pettersson to score anytime at +125. My $10 bet would return $22.50.
Pettersson has been quiet on the goal-scoring front recently, the 3rd worst defensive unit in the league in the Columbus Blue Jackets may just be exactly what the doctor ordered for him to find his groove.
Money Line
Vancouver to win money line at -175. My $10 bet would return $15.71.
Not what any Canucks fan wants to hear, they can’t win when you want them to win and they can’t lose when you want them to lose. Columbus is a putrid 4-15-1 on the road and Vancouver usually slightly beats teams that are actively trying to lose.
Last Game Bets
Bo Horvat to register over 2.5 shots at -110. My $10 bet would return $19.09. – MISSED
Elias Pettersson to register a power play point at +130. My $10 would return $23. – MISSED
Seattle Kraken to win money-line at -181. My $10 bet would return $15.50.- HIT
A mini cold stream going on for us here. We staked $30 and returned $15.50. We are now up $55.03 on the year.
