Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
The Canucks and Devils have played twice this season and have combined for 21 goals in those games. Like we said, the over was a lock between those team teams and has now hit in seven straight matchups.
Vancouver ultimately won 6-4, improving to 1-1 on their current seven game road trip. Next up for the team is a visit to the world-famous Madison Square Garden to take on the powerhouse New York Rangers. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
Panarin has been fantastic again this season, ranking third in the league in points at a 119 point pace clip, which would far surpass his current career high of 96 points. The former Hawk has scored scored two or more points in three of his last four games.
This is also a great matchup for Panarin, as he has scored at least a point in ten of his last 11 matchups against Vancouver. Take this play at .8 units.
Player Prop
Elias Pettersson to register over 1.5 points at +187. My $10 bet would return $28.70.
With the lotto line reunited, it was hard to pass on this play. Pettersson has scored two or more points in three of his last five games and has scored at least a point against the Rangers six of the last seven matchups.
I expect the lotto line to dominate again. Take this play at .8 units.
Pre-Built Bets
New York to score a power-play goal at -118. My $12.50 bet would return $23.12.
I absolutely love this play at these odds. The Rangers have the best power-play in the league and Vancouver ranks 22nd on the penalty-kill. In their only matchup with Vancouver this season, the Rangers scored three power-play goals.
This is unquestionably a full unit play.
Last Game Bets
Jesper Bratt to register ove 3.5 shots at +130. My $10 bet would return $23. – MISSED
Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -143. My $12.50 bet would return $21.38. – HIT
Both teams to combine for over 6.5 goals at -125. My $10 bet would return $18. – HIT
An okay night, we staked $32.50 and returned $38.38, we are now up $158.08 on the season.
