Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway
A first period goal from Andrei Kuzmemnko gave the Canucks an early first period lead against the Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver never looked back, taking home a 3-0 win. Thacher Demko was brilliant making 33 saves and earning the Canucks their first shutout of the season.
Vancouver will play their last home game of the season as they host the Calgary Flames. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
Whenever we can get this bet we take it, even if the payout isn’t great. Pettersson has been inconsistent in the shot column but had five shots in his matchup with the Flames on March 31st
Player Prop #2
Tyler Toffoli to register over 3.5 shots at +110. My $10 bet would return $21.
Toffoli has been a notorious Canuck killer since his departure from Vancouver in 2021. He has registered 17 shots in his last 4 games, including a six shot performance against the Canucks on March 31st.
Parlay
Calgary to win money-line and Elias Pettersson to register a point at +100. My $10 bet would return $20.
Calgary is still in a dog fight for the last playoff spot in the West, every game is close to do or die for them and I fully expect them to put their best foot forward tonight.
Pettersson has scored a point in 16 of his last 17 games.
Last Game Bets
Brock Boeser to register over 2.5 shots at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50. – HIT
Elias Pettersson to score 2 or more points at +100. My $10 bet would return $20. – MISSED
Vancouver to win money-line and Elias Pettersson to register a point at -163. My $10 bet would return $16.15. – HIT
We staked $30 and returned $33.65, we’re now up $98.14 on the year.
