Betway Bets of the Day: Bet on Andrei Kuzmenko to continue his momentum against the Blues

Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
What a difference two days can make. One of the most compelling games at Rogers Arena in the past ten seasons was played on Saturday night and was followed up by a clunky, boring, snooze fest on Monday. The good news for Canucks fans is Vancouver won both of them, and that’s simply what good teams do: win in every game style.
Next up for the Canucks is a matchup with the St. Louis Blues, who are the last team the Canucks lost to in regulation an astonishing 20 days ago. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
Although Mikheyev has yet to find the back off the net in his past 15 games, he’s generated his fair share of shots, hitting over 1.5 in seven of his last nine games. The speedster has tallied 13 shots in his last five games, an average of 2.6 per game.
Take this play at .8 units.
Player Prop
Elias Pettersson to register a power-play point at +155. My $10 bet would return $25.50.
Pettersson has been red hot with the extra man of late scoring four power-play points in his last four games. I like this trend to continue against a Blues team that’s ranked 21st in the league on the penalty kill.
Take this play at .8 units.
Player Prop
Andrei Kuzmenko to score anytime at +275. My $10 bet would return $37.50.
Yes, I’ve been burned on this play a lot this season by simply expecting Kuzmenko to bounce back. This time feels different. Kuzmenko has been buzzing since the third period of the Leafs game and even earned a late shift to close out the Blackhawks game due to his strong play.
We’re going to take this play here and trust our eye test at .8 units for a very nice payout.
Last Game Bets
Elias Pettersson to score two or more points at +130. My $10 bet would return $23. – MISSED
Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -167. My $12.50 bet would return $20. – MISSED
Brock Boeser to score anytime at +135. My $10 bet would return $23.50.- MISSED
Tough night and a brutal game to bet on. We are now up $142.83 on the season.
