Betway Bets of the Day: Bet on Andrei Kuzmenko to find the back of the net against the Sabres

Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
On Thursday, the Vancouver Canucks improved their winning streak to four straight games with a 4-3 overtime win against Pittsburgh. Elias Pettersson capped off an incredible four point night with the overtime dagger, and the Canucks star has now scored an incredible 12 points in his last four games.
Next up for the Canucks is a matchup with their expansion cousins, the Buffalo Sabres. Here are three bets I like for today’s game.
Player Prop
We’re doubling down on this play. Pettersson has hit his over 2.5 shots in nine of his last 12 games and is playing the best hockey of his career on this road trip.
Take this as a full unit play.
Player Prop
JJ Peterka to register over 2.5 shots at -110. My $10 bet would return $21.
Peterka has developed exactly like you would want a second round pick to develop. He dominated the World Juniors then dominated the AHL, and is now starting to find his footing at the NHL level. The 21 year old German is scoring at a 25 goal, 53 point pace and has been one of the lone bright spots in another disappointing season for Buffalo.
Peterka has hit his over 2.5 in four of his last six games and I like that trend to continue. Put .8 units on this play.
Player Prop
Andrei Kuzmenko to score anytime at +225. My $10 bet would return $22.50.
This is more of a gut feel play more than anything else. Kuzmenko has had some incredible chances of late but hasn’t gotten on the board since before Christmas. I like the Canucks’ power-play to get rolling and think Kuzmenko gets one with the man advantage.
You can also sprinkle on a Kuzmenko power-play point at +325, but we will not track that. Take Kuzmenko to score anytime at .8 units.
Last Game Bets
Elias Petersson to register over 2.5 shots at -15o. My $12.50 bet would return $20,83 – HIT
Brock Boeser to score anytime at +155. My $10 bet would return $25.55. – HIT
Vancouver to win money-line at +110. My $10 bet would return $21.- HIT
Nothing better than a perfect day! We staked $32.50 and returned $67.33. We are now up $202.30 on the season.
