Babych Please – September 21st

Sep 22, 2015, 12:00 EDTUpdated:

The pre-season is finally underway and fun has returned! Read on to see the best of the return of Behind The Lens, to witness the lowest point in Ronalds Kenins’ golfing career, and to learn the weirdest nickname Luca Sbisa has ever had.
- Jannik Hansen literally brought his own chair to the bench last night. No one knows or cares why, it’s just amazing:
- The always entertaining Behind the Lens series returned for training camp. The full galleries are up on canucks.com and they are so much better than just these highlights, trust me. First, some fun headshots with the twins:

- Here is Sven Baertschi probably dropping a football:

- Then we have this tiny, miserable child who looks like he may have been cheered up in time for the Canucks’ scrimmage. Maybe these are different kids, but I’m going to hope that they’re the same because it’s nicer that way.

- Finally, mob boss Luca Sbisa appears to be giving Yannick Weber a very serious bro hug.

Seriously it looks like this scene from The Godfather II:

- Ronalds Kenins and Matt Bartkowski were mic’d up during the Canucks training camp scrimmage. Yes, at 0:30, Kenins does call Luca Sbisa “The Italian Munchkin”. At 1:50, he says it again. We can only guess at the origins of this nickname, because Sbisa is 6’2″.
- Staying with Kenins, Ronalds insisted that he was the worst at golf and subsequently proved that he is indeed the worst at golf.

- Canadian munchkin Bo Horvat was the victim of noted scrappers (haha!) Brandon Prust and Derek Dorsett. Frank Corrado looks so relieved to be awake.
- Canucks prospect Jordan Subban did some rapid-fire Q&A with his brothers and his dad. Apparently Jordan is the womanizer of the family. Also, his brothers’ reactions to Jordan’s choice of Vancouver as the best hockey town are priceless. Plus, Papa Subban is adorable. There is so much to love in this video that we all have to hesitate before calling the Sedins our favourite set of hockey brothers.
