Babych Please – Sept. 7th 2015

Sep 7, 2015, 14:52 EDTUpdated:

This week Babych Please takes a couple of trips down memory lane and grows concerned for Frank Corrado’s phone bill.
- Jim Benning and Willie Desjardins went fishing with the Canucks for Kids Fund this summer and this amazing photo was taken. I hope that Willie is telling Jim that he’s doing a real good job while Jim is mentally commending the fish on the grittiness it is bringing to this encounter.

- Former Canuck Kevin Bieksa talked to NHL.com about his chaotic first shift in the NHL. After sending Brendan Morrison a suicide pass, he tried to make up for it by going after the guy who hit Morrison. He managed to miss Jeremy Roenick and took on Aaron Miller instead. Bieksa ended up in the penalty box just seconds into his career.
- Latvia native Rodrigo Abols hopes to follow in the footsteps of Ronalds Kenins. Latvians are the best at captions.
- Relive the age of the flip phone with this look back at the Canucks Wireless Initiative. Will anything ever be as cool as the “Todd Bertuzzi set up by Naslund” ring tone? Probably not.
- Frank Corrado is doing his part as a Jays fan to keep the team together long term. I’m not sure if that’s how it works, Frankie. Please be responsible.
Been going over my data every month on my Rogers bill so we can lock up David Price next year
