The Vancouver Canucks have unveiled their slate of a dozen “Community Nights” scattered throughout the 2022–23 regular season.
The Canucks shared the schedule through a release on Friday afternoon. The festivities will begin with Opening Night against the Buffalo Sabres on October 22 and conclude with Fan Appreciation Night against the Calgary Flames on April 8.
Here’s the full list of the Canucks’ 2022–23 Community Nights:
  • Opening Night — October 22 vs. Buffalo
  • Diwali Night — October 24 vs. Carolina
  • Hockey Fights Cancer — November 1 vs. New Jersey
  • First Nations Celebration — December 5 vs. Montreal
  • Hockey Talks — January 18 vs. Tampa Bay
  • Lunar New Year — January 24 vs. Chicago
  • Black History Month — February 18 vs. Detroit
  • International Women’s Day — March 8 vs. Anaheim
  • Canucks for Kids Fund Telethon — March 21 vs. Vegas
  • Pride Night — March 31 vs. Calgary
  • Autism Acceptance Night — April 2 vs. Los Angeles
  • Fan Appreciation Night — April 8 vs. Calgary
The Canucks are scheduled to open the 2022–23 season with five consecutive road games between October 12 and 20 before finally playing their home opener against Buffalo on October 22.
Similarly, after facing Calgary at home on April 8, the Canucks will finish their season with a three-game southwestern road trip concluding in Arizona on April 13.
The Canucks have historically calebrated many of these theme nights with corresponding warmup uniforms, some of which have subsequently been available for sale at team stores.
Earlier this year, CanucksArmy had the opportunity to speak with Mio, the designer of the Canucks’ stunning 2022 Pride Night logo and jerseys. You can expect to see even more commemorative uniforms this season.
