Utica Comets Get Boucher Back From The Canucks
By Cory Hergott
6 years agoThe Utica Comets are getting their top scorer back. The Vancouver Canucks announced today that they were returning Reid Boucher to Utica.
Boucher was recalled to Vancouver on December 17th but got into just three games during his most recent recall, going pointless. In 25 games with the Comets this season, Boucher has scored 13 goals and put up 12 assists, good for 25 points. He has also accumulated just six penalty minutes while playing in all situations.
The Comets will be thrilled to have Reid back in the lineup, as they have been decimated by injuries this season. The Comets are in Hartford today to take on the Wolf Pack at 2:00 pm Pacific. It is unclear at this point whether or not Boucher will play today if not, he should be able to suit up for Wednesday’s game against Laval.
