The NHL announced today that Game 6 of the First Round Series between the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, May 3, in Nashville. The game will be televised on TNT and MAX in the U.S. and on Sportsnet, CBC, and TVA Sports in Canada.
The Predators forced a Game 6 showdown with a narrow 2-1 victory in Game 5 at Rogers Arena on Tuesday night.
Once again for the Canucks fanbase, similar to Game 3, the team will be hosting an away viewing party for fans in Vancouver. Tickets are currently available for purchase at $15, with proceeds going towards the Canucks for Kids Fund. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m., giving fans lots of time to soak in the pre-game atmosphere.
From the electrifying pre-game video to the rendition of the national anthem, and the iconic siren crank, fans will be treated to an experience that mirrors a Canucks home playoff game. Rally towels will be placed on every seat, while live music, contests, and giveaways will keep the crowd entertained during breaks and intermissions.
Upon puck drop, fans will be able to watch the game through the Sportsnet broadcasts on the Canucks’ new video board.
