Welcome back to another edition of Throwback Thursday!
This week in 2004, Markus Naslund became the fifth Vancouver Canuck to score 250 goals with the team.
Naslund, then 30, was in the midst of one of his most productive years in the NHL — a campaign that saw him finish with 35 goals and 84 points in 78 games. It was a year off his best season in 2002-03 that saw him scored 48 goals and 104 points in 82 games.
He finished his career atop the Canucks all-time goalscorers list with 346 tallies but was later passed by Daniel Sedin, who sits atop the chart with 393 goals.
Also in the top-10 from spots three through 10 are Trevor Lidnen, Stan Smyl, Pavel Bure, Tony Tanti, Henrik Sedin, Thomas Gradin, Alexandre Burrows and Todd Bertuzzi.
