The Vancouver Canucks are 9-1-0 in their last 10 games at home after having their nine-game home winning streak snapped on Saturday against the Calgary Flames. The Canucks will try to start up a new home winning streak on Monday against the Nashville Predators.
Vancouver is a +100 home underdog on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Nashville (-120) is 4-1 in its last five road games.

Predators at Canucks | OddsShark Matchup Report

This Canucks slump has hit out of nowhere. Vancouver was on a roll with a 14-3 record before losing 4-3 in a shootout to the Carolina Hurricanes. Since then, the Canucks have reeled off three straight regulation losses, losing those games by a combined score of 14 to 4. To make matters worse for the Canucks, Brock Boeser will miss at least the next two games with an upper body injury. Boeser is tied for third on the team in scoring with 16 goals and 29 assists.
In their last six games as a home underdog, the Canucks are a perfect 6-0 per the OddsShark NHL Database.
Nashville fired head coach Peter Laviolette in early January after the Predators got off to an underwhelming 19-15-7 start to the 2019-20 NHL season. The move hasn’t really sparked much of a change as the Predators are 7-6 over their last 13 games since Laviolette’s departure. The Predators are 7-2-1 over their last 10 games on the road but just 1-5 in their last six games at home; they will need to play a lot better at home down the stretch if they hope to make a move for a wild card spot in the crowded Western Conference playoff picture.
Monday night’s total is set at six goals at sports betting sites. The OVER is 8-1 in the last nine games between the Canucks and the Predators.
Despite their recent skid, the Canucks still enter Monday’s action in first place in the Pacific Division. They’ve got plenty of time to right the ship over the course of this six-game homestand. Vancouver can start turning things around with a win over the Predators to avoid setting their longest losing streak of the season at five games.
