Plays of the Week: November 25-Dec 2nd, 2017
By Vanessa Jang
6 years agoIt was a week with the highest of highs and lowest of lows. You never want to see a player get injured. Whether it’s a broken finger or something more serious, it always sucks. In this case, it hurts even more because it hits close to home. After making a great comeback and proving the doubters wrong, Derek Dorsett was advised to hand up his skates. There’s no denying what kind of player he was: not the most talented and not the most skilled, but he was courageous and never backed down. There’s only so much you can say, but I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you Dorsett for 4 great seasons of grit, work ethic, and heart. You’re a warrior!
