But since then, the Canucks are just 5-9-2 over their last 16 games including a current slump of 1-5-0 over their last six games. New York has lost six straight games, and its only two wins since February 11 have come against the Detroit Red Wings and San Jose Sharks, two of the worst teams in the NHL.

The Canucks entered the NHL All-Star Break in first place in the Pacific Division. Vancouver still controls its playoff destiny with games in hand on Calgary and the two teams currently holding wild card spots in the Western Conference, but time to turn things around is starting to run out.
