On today’s episode of Canucks Conversation, Harman Dayal and Chris Faber broke down all the latest surrounding the Vancouver Canucks. The two talked about what would constitute a good, great, and godly return for some of the Canucks’ top tradeable assets.

Later, the guys discussed Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic’s report that the Canucks would like pieces that can help them in the here and now as opposed to future assets in a Bo Horvat trade.
Here’s what LeBrun had to say:
“I assumed the Canucks would be asking for a futures-only package, as selling, retooling teams most often do when they’re dealing with an in-season trade for a pending unrestricted free agent. But so far, it seems that Vancouver is looking instead for more of a hockey deal — to upgrade at center ice and/or right-shot defense if possible and bring in a player in the twentysomething age range this Canucks management group has focused on since coming on board.”
They talked about the difference between a retool and a rebuild, and why they’d both like to see a rebuild as opposed to more patchwork.
