The Vancouver Canucks will be following provincial health guidelines and dropping the mandate for masks inside boh Rodgers Arena and the Abbotsford Centre.
In a statement released Friday, Canucks Sports and Entertainment said both fans and employees can continue to wear masks if they choose to do so.
“With the change in provincial guidelines, masks will no longer be required at events held at Rogers Arena and Abbotsford Centre,” said CSE business operations president Michael Doyle in a statement. “Fans and employees who wish to continue wearing masks are welcome to do so.”
The organization says fans will still be required to show proof of double vaccination to attend events.
The province lifted this mandate earlier in the day.
