On today’s episode of Canucks Conversation, Chris Faber and David Quadrelli gave their hottest takes for the Vancouver Canucks’ 2023-24 season.
The entire staff at CanucksArmy has been taking part in a game of “Hot Take Survivor” where everybody has submitted a take anonymously, until one take remains after readers of CanucksArmy vote on their favourites. In the same vain, Faber and Quads gave a hot take each on today’s show.
First, Quads gave his take that Brock Boeser will score 30 goals this season. He’s written about this already, and you can read about that more here. Because Quads has already given this take, he gave a second take, that not only will Arturs Silovs log 25 games this season, he may win the backup job right out of camp.
Faber, on the other hand, said that he thinks Spencer Martin will have a huge bounce back year and that Silovs will only get into one NHL game this season. Faber’s take is that Martin will log a save percentage over .910.
