The Utica Comets have announced that they have sent forward Danny Moynihan back to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL, as well as ending the professional tryout contracts of forwards Vincent Arseneau and Brady Brassart.
The moves come as the Comets are starting to get healthy, as well as having received their top line of Goldobin, Chaput, and Boucher back from Vancouver over the previous weeks. The Comets are also close to getting Joe LaBate, Alexis D’Aoust and Jaime Sifers back from injury.
These moves leave forwards Tony Cameranesi, David Dziurzynski, and Andrew Cherniwchan, along with goaltender Mitch Gillam as the remaining players with the Comets on PTO deals.
Moynihan has played in 11 games with the Comets this season, going pointless. Brassart got into nine games with Utica, also going pointless. Arseneau, for his part, got into eight games while with the Comets and he picked up a goal and an assist while putting up 15 penalty minutes.
The Comets are back in action on Friday at 4:05 pm Pacific as they hit the road to Binghamton for a game against the Devils. CanucksArmy will have your post-game report following the game.
