The Vancouver Canucks are 1-12 on the moneyline in their last 13 games against the Winnipeg Jets. The Canucks will try to turn their luck against the Jets around in a back-to-back set of road games against them this Monday and Tuesday night in Winnipeg.
Vancouver is a +115 road underdog on the NHL odds on Monday night at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Jets (-135) defeated the Canucks twice in Vancouver less than two weeks ago.

As has been the case virtually all season long, the Canucks were unable to click in both zones at the same time in Thursday night’s 3-0 loss to the Edmonton Oilers. Thatcher Demko turned in one of his best efforts of the season allowing only two goals on 33 shots, but the Canucks offense couldn’t get any of their 30 shots past Mike Smith. With the loss, Vancouver fell to 2-9-2 over its last 13 games including a current four-game losing streak of 0-3-1.
The Canucks play these two games in Winnipeg before returning home for their next five games. Vancouver is 3-8 on the road this season.
Connor Hellebuyck made 40 saves and Paul Stastny got the game-winner in Winnipeg’s 2-1 overtime win over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night. The Jets have surged into third place in the North Division with an 8-3 run over their last 11 games that includes wins in each of their last four games. Winnipeg has one of the division’s top home records at 8-3-1 this season.
Monday night’s total is set at 6.5 goals at betting sites. The UNDER is 5-0 in Vancouver’s last five road games against the Jets.
With only 18 points in 2021, Vancouver enters this back-to-back set against the Jets closer to the Ottawa Senators (15 points) for last place in the division than the Calgary Flames (22 points) in fifth place. The team’s -17 goal differential on the season ranks 27th worst in the NHL. Canucks fans are desperately waiting for some kind of spark to turn this dreadful season around, but the losses keep piling up with no end in sight.
