The Canucks saw their eight-game point streak come to an end last night in a 5-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. Vancouver is still in great shape on the season with a 9-4-3 record, but avoiding a third straight loss and getting the offence flowing again in this one would be ideal. The Jets rank 25th in the NHL in scoring this season while the Canucks rank fifth in goals against allowing only 2.50 goals per game. Another shutdown performance from the defence and goaltender Thatcher Demko could be the ticket to snapping Vancouver’s long losing streak against Winnipeg.
