What a difference one game can make. The Edmonton Oilers were dead in the water after a 4-3 loss at home in game three. The Florida Panthers took a commanding 3-0 series lead, and game four looked like just a formality.

But the Oilers did what they have done best all season long: when their backs were against the wall, they came to play. Vancouver fans saw this firsthand after the Canucks took a 3-2 series lead; Edmonton handed the Canucks their lunch in game six.

The Oilers did the same thing to the Panthers in game four, annihilating them 8-1, but Edmonton still has loads of work to do as they’re still trailing this series 3-1.

The Florida Panthers’ Sergei Bobrovsky (36-17-4) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (36-15-2).

Leon Draisaitl will be all over the ice in another elimination game for his squad. He now gets a top six running mate in Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, so I really like this line. Draisaitl has hit his over in three of four games against the Panthers this series.

It’s time, Reinhart got on the board in game three but has been relatively quiet in this series for his standards. I think that changes tonight, the 57-goal scorer will be crucial for the Panthers tonight in an elimination game.

Florida had the same script against the Tampa Bay Lightning, they lost game four up 3-0 but were able to close the Bolts out on home ice in a lopsided game five win. I expect a similar fate tonight or this series is going seven.
