The Vancouver Canucks get an extra day off as they play tomorrow in an all-important match for the Pacific division standings against the Edmonton Oilers. For today, we’ll be targeting another potential Canuck playoff matchup, the Vegas Golden Knights.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted games:
The Minnesota Wild’s Marc-Andre Fleury (17-13-5) vs. The Vegas Golden Knights’ Logan Thompson (23-14-5).

Vegas Golden Knights Win/Draw/Win (-115)

Your $10.00 bet would return $18.69.
This is a bet for the Vegas Golden Knights to win in regulation.
The Golden Knights are on a bit of a losing streak, as they’ve lost three straight coming into tonight’s match. However, all three games came on the road, where they have a below .500 win percentage this season. Tonight, Vegas returns home, where they have a 24-11-2 record this season.
The Golden Knights have beaten the Wild in four of their last five head-to-head meetings. Vegas has something to fight for, as the Los Angeles Kings have a three-point lead over them in the Pacific division standings as they battle for third place.

Matthew Boldy Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-110)

Your $10.00 bet would return $19.09.
Matthew Boldy has cleared in four of his last seven games, averaging 3.9 shots on 6.9 shot attempts. Although he’s struggled to hit this number away from home over his previous 10 road games, he still averages 7.1 shot attempts over that span. When Boldy sees 7+ shot attempts on the road this season, he’s clearing at a 53% clip and averages 3.9 shots per game.
Against the Golden Knights, Boldy has cleared in both games this season, averaging 7.0 shots on 13.0 shot attempts per game. Dating back to last season, he’s cleared in four of his previous five against Vegas, averaging 5.2 shots on 10.6 shot attempts. The Golden Knights allow the third most shots on goal (13.3) to wingers over their last 10 games.

Last Game Recap:

Adam Fox Assist – WON – (+$7.50)
Bo Horvat Over 2.5 Shots on Goal – LOSS – (-$15.00)
Ottawa Senators / Tampa Bay Lightning Over 6.5 – LOSS – (-$10.00)
Adam Fox gets his assist on the lone New York Rangers goal of the game. The Bo Horvat loss is frustrating, as he finished with two shots on goal but had four shots taken away after the game and finished with eight shot attempts. After a strong three-goal first period for the Senators and Lightning, the scoreless second period killed us.
All-Time Record: 1-2 (-$17.50)
